Thanksgiving Edition of NAMB Prayer Connection

Dear Beloved Intercessor,

How I thank God for you; your faithfulness to pray encourages our missionaries to stand firm and to persevere in the hard times. And, your prayers for revival of God’s people and spiritual awakening across North America are not in vain. God is waking up His bride, the church, and sparks of revival are becoming more noticeable. Please continue to pray; and share your stories of what you see God doing in your area.

In this issue, read a thanksgiving message from Henry Blackaby along with an article about the Fresh Encounter Prayer Conference in February. We hope that you will be able to attend. Dr. Blackaby and Anne Graham Lotz will be the featured speakers.

“We give thanks to God always for all of you, making mention of you in our prayers” (1 Thess. 1:2, NASB).

May God bless you and your family with a wonderful Thanksgiving.

For God's Glory,
Elaine Helms, NAMB Prayer and Spiritual Awakening

Cities. Churches. Adapt or ...

"[London] is a diverse community. The church has to see that and adapt to it, not be fearful of it. We've got to be all things to all people so that we might share Christ. How can we reach them? By being absolutely outrageous with the love of God, we can cross all boundaries. Get out on the street and do stuff."

That's the attitude that will reach the new London and -- as new disciples of all creeds and colors there are won to Christ -- the world. One missionary even likens the city to heaven, where, as the Book of Revelation says, members of all tribes and tongues will one day worship before the throne of God.

"They're gonna be there," she says. "So living in London is a chance to practice heaven on earth."

Dear Prayer Warriors,

As of October 31 at 6:41 PM we received word that Pastor Juan Manuel Tec had been freed from his kidnappers. We don't have more details other that he is in the hospital. Don't know any further.

Can you imagine the jubilee at the TEC Family Home??? Praise God for answered prayers. Thank you for praying. He is worthy of all praise and adoration, and of course the utmost of our service.

As soon as we hear from Johnny or other family members, we'll pass on the information. Amen.
